THE TULSA MAP® 2026 WILL BE RELEASED IN JUNE 2026 and will have a ROUTE 66 theme in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Route 66.

The Tulsa Map® 2026 will be revealed June 2026. Every two years a new Tulsa Map is created with a new selected artist.
The Tulsa Map® 2026 artist is Jerry Bennett.
Jerry Bennett is a full time artist, comic book illustrator and graphic novelist who has created just about everything from licensed products for Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, to storyboards for Disney, Dreamworks and Saban, to animated book trailers and more. His love of storytelling through the comic format led to working with authors in and around Oklahoma. His work has been recognized by the ALA (American Library Association). He’s held numerous art residencies and teaches workshops on the process of comic art and children’s illustration all over the world. He serves the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) as their Global U.S. Illustrator Coordinator, and as an establishing board member of the Oklahoma Comic Arts Foundation.

The support we receive empowers us to not only create, print & distribute The Tulsa Map® but to also implement future outreach programs educating both adults and youth on the benefits of mapping while appreciating the geography, diversity, culture and history of Tulsa.
Since The Tulsa Map® reveal launch at Circle Cinema in June 2022, at least 40,000 FREE folded paper maps have been distributed throughout the city with 60,000 maps in total printed. Free maps have been made available for residents and visitors in several city locations which include: Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios on 66, Greenwood Rising, Ida Red, Love Me Two Times, The Tulsa City Library, The Coffee House on Cherry Street, Tulsa International Airport, Magic City Books, and Woody Guthrie Center.
MapWorks Tulsa, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of Tulsa residents and visitors by creating a map that illuminates Tulsa’s diverse districts. The map will serve as an introduction to the city’s spirit and energy while fostering unity, inclusion and identity through an ambitious map design, an artistic lens, and community outreach.
