SoBo, which stands for South Boston Avenue in Tulsa, is a hip and trendy spot for late night hangouts, retail shops, live music and some delicious food as well. In the ’70s and early ’80s, the space at the southwest corner of East 17th Street and South Boston Avenue was once the popular Nine of Cups Restaurant, where the Tulsa Sound flourished and acts such as Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale, and Bonnie Raitt played.
